ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm John. I was born in Chicago, but lived most my life in Colorado. I grew up playing hockey, hiking, riding dirt bikes, sitting around playing video games, hanging with friends and having a good time. I still enjoy all of those things and more. I am looking for adventure and like doing activities that get my heart pumping. Oh yea I also love to travel!

I joined couchsurfer so that I could meet fellow travelers. I love to meet new people and make new friends and I also love to meet locals who know way more than I do about their culture and country.

I've lived and worked in Taiwan and now currently Myanmar. I have also met the woman of my dreams and am lucky enough to spend the rest of my life with her.

I am clean and respectful. I grew up learning to treat people how I want to be treated and I do my best to fulfill that theory. I welcome the opportunity to meet people around the world and learn everywhere I go. I hope each new host allows me the opportunity to connect with them as citizens of the world.
