ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 year old Swedish guy living in Sweden. At the moment I'm doing my final year at the engineeringprogram that I'm studying here in Uppsala.

My biggest interests are traveling, food and wine (I prefer to enjoy them all at the same time). I have so far traveled parts of Asia, Northern and Eastern Europe, North, Central and South America.

I'm not the partying kind of guy. I prefer hanging out under more quiet circumstances - I find it easier to get to know people that way.

I'm an open minded guy and like to learn about other cultures as well as sharing my own.

PHILOSOPHY

There's a big difference between vacation and traveling. Traveling is often more strenuous and challenging than most full time jobs if you do it properly!

I want to participate by offering tourists in Sweden a place to stay and meet locals when I'm out traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done some surfing in the East part of Europe and really had a great time and got to know some very nice people!

Interests

I'm interested in food - both cooking and eating, wine, traveling. Photography, politics and natural science are also stuff that I like.

Music, Movies, and Books

Majority metal: Dream Theater is a big favorite along with other progressive metal bands such as: Symphony X, Opeth, Evergrey and Black Bonzo.

Don't worry, I like other stuff as well such as modern piano music, modern acoustic guitar...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spent almost two years of my life out traveling. But You'll have to invite me to your couch to hear the highlights ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook some nice food and pair it up with the right kind of beverage. I would like you to teach me something about your country and culture. I love discussions concerning everything from politics to environmental sustainability.
