Mel's done this before (couch surfed in Israel and India), this is John's first time. Mel has also hosted a few different times in Brooklyn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. Rescued a dog while in India, nursed it back to health, then brought it back to the US and found a home for her.
