Time to start traveling again after a longer break during covid. I'm very happy to meet people again and to just be on the road without really a set destination.

Couchsurfing combined with hitchhiking works for me perfectly as a mixture of meeting people of all different kind.
I'm usy traveling by myself, staying off the usual and crowded touristic routesmost often and trying to get to know different perspectives on life in general.

I'm on Couchsurfing for almost 11 years now and already hosted quite a lot of people, actually many times more than I stayed as a guest.

When I'm hosting, it feels a little bit like an adventure is visiting me in my usual daily routine. This is a very pleasent experience and I can look back on quite some fun encounters.
When traveling, couchsurfing is the most interesting way for me to find my way around and get to see other peoples perception of the area and challenge my own habits and ideas.

Meeting people you have known on one of your journeys on a whole different place, months/years later - it happens and is always exceptional.
Otherwise I'm not a fan of showing off with "amazing stories" but gladly share some memorable incidents while having a good conversation.
