Happy to help and accommodate people travelling round on foot, by bike, motorbike, etc. I like to hear other people's playlists, and swap information on good places to go.

Mostly associated with making things- I'm a Design Technology/ Science/ EFL teacher. But my favourite part is the Design Technology. I'm generally into all sorts of craftwork.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: A bit of everything. Especially Moby, Metallica, NIN, Hans Zimmer.
Movies: All sorts. Largely action of sci-fi though. Especially both Blade Runner films.
Books: Mostly travel books, all time favourite is 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing a Science teacher training course in Sudan, and the translator didn't turn up. I had 30 people who had come in by bus from all over for this, one of them with her 2 small children. After a short panic I managed to handle the first 30 minutes speaking only Arabic, and everyone understood me. Then fortunately the translator arrived. Bit of a baptism of fire.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach for living, so it's sort of in my nature. But if you come on a bicycle, I can probably teach you something about bicycle maintenance as I'm a mechanic. I like learning languages and making curries.
