Living in San Juan, PR for the past 5+ years and just enjoying the cultural experience, meeting people from anywhere and everywhere and creating life long memories and friendships.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in the Chicago area and joined the Coast Guard in 2003. It was a great experience where I got to live all along the east coast from NYC to Miami where I have been for the past 6 years. I also got to save 100s of lives as a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer. I moved to Puerto Rico to pursue a second Bachelor degree in Nursing where I will be attending school in San Juan, PR. I graduated in 2013 but decided Nursing was not the career field for me. I have been managing Health Clubs and just enjoying the process until my life takes me in a new direction.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live and love to help others. My close friends and family are more important to me than anything else. I honestly don't know what I would do without them. I love meeting people from all parts of the world and learning and experiencing their cultures. I plan to travel and volunteer as much as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time on the site. It was recommended by a friend of mine who has been traveled and backpacked for years. She enjoys the site and everyone she has met on here so I decided to give it a try.

兴趣

I pretty much enjoy anything from the city to a tropical beach. Road trips, travelling, movies, relaxing. I really enjoy it all.

音乐、电影和书籍

Reggae music and hip hop when I am working out. I can get into all movies except fantasy or science fiction and I do not read too many books.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I feel most proud about contributing to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans where I spend 5 days rescuing people from their roofs of flooded homes.
