HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've participated in quite a few local events in Umeå particularly language exchanges. I generally try to join CS meetings and events wherever I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted people just a couple of times and also surfed a few couches in Norway, Turkey, Finland.
CS was also a good way for me to get to know some locals when I moved to Umeå and sometimes help out some of the very few travellers coming up to northern Sweden.
It has always been a very pleasant experience and a lot of fun. You get to see things you wouldn't have come across otherwise, where and how people do live.
