CURRENT MISSION

I've never done this! I don't know what to expect or what my mission is. I'm just opening trying to open my world to new things and new people. This seems like the perfect way!

ABOUT ME

I'm the accountant that isn't really an accountant lol. I'm very open-minded and like to go out and experience new things. That's how I ended up here! Very laid back. I'm Venezuelan and Arabic so I can be loud at times. I'm one of 7 kids so I think I know how to adapt and get along with others. I curse, but I'll ease into it around new people lol. Always down for a beer and lounging out when possible. I'm learning Italian and hope to couch surf in Italy this Fall!

PHILOSOPHY

I have a tattoo of 3 intertwined triangles that represent 3 values that my Fraternity taught me; love (self-explanatory), charity (look at the good in people, not the bad), and esteem (be respectful to the convictions of others). I live by this everyday.

I started on the site because I found a cheap flight to New Orleans and needed a place to crash. It was so last minute that I couldn't find a host =/

NFL football, food and new restaurants, beer and tap rooms, jazz and live music, cooking, and trying out new things (which has been ESPECIALLY true as of late.)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Looooove me some comedy! I've also been a fan of bringing books/comics/stories to life, such as all the Marvel superhero movies, Hunger Games, etc.

Music: My favorite band is Lit (remember them?!) but I really do enjoy most types of music. I guess band names will narrow it down. Eminem, Foo Fighters, Louis Armstrong, Allen Stone, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wyclef, Thievery Corporation, System of a Down, Beatles, Alicia Keys, Mobb Deep, Pharell, Billy Joel, Bob Marley, Madaleine Peyroux, Kendrick Lamar, Major Lazer, John Mayer, Emeli Sande, Justin Timberlake, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'M GOING SKYDIVING ON APRIL 19TH, 2015!

I jumped off of a 50ft cliff in Jamaica and bruised my pectoral muscle when I hit the water :)

I've seen the Chicago skyline by standing 4 feet outside of the Willis tower on their Skydeck 1,400ft in the air. It was beautiful and fucking scary! lol

I just came back from Puerto Rico and I hiked all the way to the top of El Yunque National Rainforest! About 4,000 feet high and it was absolutely breathtaking!
