ABOUT ME

I'm a 3rd year at USC studying Sociology and Occupational Therapy. I'm currently studying abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I was born in Taoyuan, Taiwan but have lived most of my life in Pasadena, CA. I haven't been back to Taiwan since I left but hope to do so soon! I actually haven't traveled much outside of the US and hope to do so while I'm on my exchange semester.

I love all aspects of photography--looking at photos, composing/taking photos, editing photos, going to photo exhibitions--I love it all. See my website for some of my work.

I enjoy studying Sociology and plan on attending graduate school in a social sciences field.

I like to describe myself as an extroverted introvert.

PHILOSOPHY

While I am a non theist and choose to live a life grounded in reality, I like learning about other peoples' perspectives on just about everything.

兴趣

I am a lover of music--especially live music. I don't play any instruments but I enjoy going to acoustic gigs, jazz gigs, rock gigs, raves (and everything in between).

I am an activist. I protested China's involvement in the ongoing genocide in Darfur at the 2008 Olympic Torch relay in San Francisco.

I am a very liberal minded person. I am a proud Democrat and voted against CA Proposition 8.

I thoroughly enjoy socializing over food, drink, and occasionally smoke.

I like getting lost--it helps me learn a new place.

Moving out of my comfort zone and living in Edinburgh has been an eye-opening experience. It makes me realize how little of the world I have seen and how much I want to see it!

Teach: computers, technology, basic photography, all about the Earth and climate change, good music!

Random bit of info: water expands ~0.02% per degree of temperature increase. 0.02% of 4km = 80cm = 2.6ft. Global warming is a global issue that we all need to help solve!

Learn: I really want to learn to cook!
