Most of the great things I've seen revolve around the ocean, surfing meters away from the rare NZ hectors dolphin, seeing wandering albatross deep in the southern ocean, eating fresh yellow fin tuna raw on the deck of a fishing boat, underwater encounters with leopard seals and sharks. I also once saw a sooty petrel eat a live seagull.
