PHILOSOPHY

This would take way too long to write here. If we meet, we can have a nice long chat over a cup of coffee or two, or three, or ten...
Basically, though, I simply believe life is a blank canvas one must paint as vividly as possible before their time on earth is up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted once so far, and made a new best friend! Couchsurfed around Sicily and Malta and met some really great people whom I really hope to see again someday. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All positive so far. Everybody on couchsurfing seems to be on a really good brainwave.

Interests

Music, especially folk styles around the world, and jazz. I also love learning new things, experiencing different styles of living, writing (fiction, short stories, songs, blogging, etc.), and any and all types of food (I'll try any food once).

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to lots of wacky music. I'm trying to learn more about South Indian Carnatic Music right now. I like free jazz, synthesizers, anything creative, really. I don't watch many movies, but I like to read. I just finished Catch-22 by Joseph Heller and it was one of my all time favorite books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

—Studying Carnatic music in India for a week had a profound influence on my musical exploration thereafter.
—Playing with jazz musicians all over the world.
—Writing, recording, producing, and distributing my own album on iTunes.
