ABOUT ME
Hi,
I'm Johnny, originally from Glasgow but now living in London! Studied history with politics at uni and, after a brief period working for a bank, saved up and went travelling. I was looking to live in a new destination but ended up in London almost accidentaly. Realy like it here now but still got my travelling shoes on and looking to do a bit more every so often.
I realy like music and love going to festivals and gigs. Prefer small basement punk gigs with bands you've hardly ever heard of as they tend to be the most fun! I'm interested in learning other languages (have a few Spanish friends in London) but I can speak some German very badly!
I live in a realy nice house that is run like a community. Wec have people staying here from all over the world and that is one of the best things about it. We don't host right now but hopefully will in the future.
I realy like just walking around a place and when I backpacked Europe early this year I walked around all the cities rather than using public transport. I think you get a good feeling of a place, it's history and it's people by taking your time to see everything rather than rushing around.
I have Teaching English as a Foreign Language training and would be interested in helping anyone who wants to improve their English (warning - you may end up learning a few Scottish expressions on the way!).
I think the world is a better place when you meet people from different places and learn from them - borders become irrelevant then!
Right now I can show you around London if you are looking for a guide.

Do what you want!

Music, Movies, and Books
I do like loads of different stuff. Mainly punk stuff from when I was younger. I started going to festivals and arts events and got in to lots of different stuff from folk, jazz, dance type stuff to the explosion of everything that is the Glastonbury festival. Done that twice and survived! Wish I read more books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Glastonbury, amazing bands from everywhere, been a lot of Scotland and England and seen a lot of Europe but mainly touristy places when I was a child tagging along with the parents. Backpacked Europe by train, boat and bus and want to do more of that - probably further East.
Countries I’ve Visited
Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom
