ABOUT ME

Hey Guys, my name is John. I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in the United States. I spent the past year living in Thailand where I worked at a Thai school teaching k-2 English. In my free time I would go to the beach, explore the surrounding islands, study Muay Thai and hang out with my friends. I love the outdoors so living on an island was an amazing experience. After a few months visiting home I am off on my next adventure! This time to New Zealand. A little back story on me, I went to University for 2 years before it got too expensive. I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, after serving for a year I broke my ankle. With a metal plate and 7 screws I was medically retired. Once I returned home I started working full time but after a year I was ready for something new. I came to Thailand with my friend and after receiving my TEFL certificate I began teaching.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for many reasons, family, friends, my faith, experiencing new things, unforeseen adventures.

visited 7 states (3.11%)
I have hosted over 100 couch surfers since living in Thailand and have met a lot of amazing people. I have only surfed a few times but plan to do a lot more in the near future.
