Overview
About Me
I'm a young Argentine male who lives in the U.S. I love hiking, culture, and finding myself in crazy situations. Adventure is my calling and I'm willing to do just about anything, the world is my comfort zone!
I speak English and Spanish but love to engage in local cultures and learn as much of the language as possible, where ever I am.
Currently studying geophysics and electrical engineering at Stanford.
I'm very open minded and enjoy meeting people that are as different from me as possible. I love every human on this planet.
Lastly, just because I live in the U.S. doesn't mean I like Trump! ;) In fact, he's the worst thing to happen in the history of the U.S. It's now a struggle just to visit my family abroad.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a poor college student so money is very tight. I don't mind sleeping with the pigs, and I absolutely hate the "tourist" part of traveling, I enjoy learning the culture of the countries and the best way to do that is to stay with locals!
I'm very open minded and seek out unique situations and look for unplanned encounters, so Couchsurfing is the way to go! I hate pre-planning my trips because I find that the locals always know better than the travel guides.
Interests
I'm very peaceful and meditate daily. I think it's one of the most beneficial practices a human can undertake.
I love yoga, rock climbing, and surfing. I'm very physically active and I love adventure sports of any kind!
Space and astronomy are my passion. I'll talk your ear off if you let me! I'm interested in using technology to help solve environmental issues, especially marine conservation efforts.
I love writing and fill up as many journals as I can, I also love photography even though I'm no good at it!
I play the guitar and love it, even though I'm not much good.
I love flying and am in the process of getting my pilot's license.
Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favorite books are Walden, On the Road, the Dao of Pooh, The Alchemist, and the original A.A. Milne Winnie the Pooh (Pooh is my idol!).
Music wise, I'm all over the place. I like to change it up and get bored if I listen to one genre. I'm a big fan of acoustic guitar, especially latin style. I love music that makes you want to wear flip flops and lay on the beach.
Not a big TV/movie person, but I loved Interstellar and Cosmos. Fight club is a favorite as well as
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time, I crashed a plane. I wasn't IN a plane crash, I actually crashed a plane. Pucker factor 10. Ask me about it when I come over :)
