ABOUT ME

That I am friendly, helpful and fun. I enjoy conversation and learning something from everyone that I meet. If invited I'm likely to show up. Growing up in a large family taught me that it's more important to be happy with what you have than to get what you want; pick up after yourself, and doing a little more than your share makes it fair.

Interests

I love to fly and can hardly believe how lucky I am to get to do so much of it. My job is flying for an airline. I have flown in the bush of Alaska, the Caribbean Islands, all over the U.S. some of the Pack Rim and a little Europe. I have been flying Hang Gliders for over 30 years and find myself looking at the sky when I am on the ground. I also like being outside, walking, listening to audio books and daydreaming. I am 21 years married and have two fantastic teen daughters that are smarter than there dad thanks to their Mom's smarts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Listening to My older daughter sing an amazing choir solo; watching my other daughter dance the lead ballet piece; launching a hang glider from Makapuu point on Oahu; taking a nap outside in the sun on a spring day. Punching into a Thunderstorm in a weather mod aircraft to drop dry ice pellets and living to tell about it.
