ABOUT ME

My name is John Tuthill, and I am a student of architecture, aspiring to take the most out of life as humanly possible. I'm down for almost anything, whether it be sports, culture, art, or nightlife. I am very down to earth and easy-going -- there are very few people that I've ever not gotten along with. Mostly I'm up to see the world and take with me the most experiences as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

I would say I'd align with a taoist philosophy; going with the flow and taking life as it comes. Living without a set plan and rather living for the experience is what I strive for. Afterall, life is short -- there is no point in living with regrets or grudges.

兴趣

I am very interested in music; I play the guitar, piano, bass, and attempt to play the drums, as well as electronic music production.
Also I love to do board sports -- surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding; I've tried them all and still can't get enough.
Philosophy has also always been a great interest of mine; I'm currently attempting a minor in philosophy and enjoy philosophical discussion at anytime.
And of course Architecture -- my passion in life thus far. Studying architecture has been and continues to be a fantastic experience and I am extremely stoked to be continuing it for a long time.

Musically my tastes are very expansive, but recently I've focused on electronic music as I have also started producing. As far as movies go, I'm a bit less cultured, but enjoy viewing nonetheless. With books, lately I've been reading non-fiction philosophy books and of course architecture books.

Well right now I am traveling through Switzerland, seeing the world. Just being here in a town of 26 people, one hour from the closest city is an amazing experience.

Well I know how to cook pretty well, can play a few instruments and know graphic design and 3D modeling programs on the computer. Also I'm able to work with numerous art media [resin, ceramics, metal, painting].
