CURRENT MISSION

My wandering has been somewhat curtailed because I've started an awesome brewery and restaurant in Chicago that needs my attention all the time. My current mission is to make my brewery a success, wander the world some more, then figure out what's next.

ABOUT ME

I make a point to wander and explore, even if it's just in my neighborhood. I love to walk, even when there are faster ways to get somewhere. Chicago is a great city, and I enjoy showing it off to people. I have a brewery and restaurant that keep me from wandering the world for long stretches, but I've been lucky enough to do that in the past and I met many wonderful people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience with Couchsurfer, but I used a similar site extensively for a while, hosting people from all over the world and being hosted myself around the world. I am still in touch with several of the people I met, even though it's been 8 years since I was active in that community.
