ABOUT ME

To be honest, I love this place - couchsurfing. It helped to know the world and its wonderful people. But I'm also really worried about its future, especially the competition from Airbnb and similar others. Airbnb provides a really good and convenient way for people to find living places, sometimes more convenient than couchsurfing, and that distract web traffic from CS. However, the spirit of Airbnb is totally different from our CS. Airbnb is about money and maximizing the benefits, while CS is about sharing, helping, and exploring. I hope people can realize it and stick to the essence, and never forget the original reason which brought you CS. Thank you.

I'm an IT guy. Love painting (most important in my life), playing basketball, hiking, swimming and programming (Java, Ruby, etc).

I want to be a cool guy and I'm on my way there. And of course, I love cool people!

I don't believe in politics. All the political issue, news and information from media cannot avoid bias. I believe in what I see with my eyes and feelings that raise from my heart. This motto is really beneficial to help everyone get out of his/her small space, open horizon and accumulate with multi-cultural experience.

I have been learning painting since I was 5 but I don't paint as often as before because daily work is heavy. I know Oil painting, sketch, watercolour, Chinese traditional painting (with ink and brushes as in English), etc. I'm now painting in iPad because it's convenient.

My favorite painting masters: Adolf Menzel, Albrecht Dürer， Vencent Van Gogh, Salvador Dali, Xu Beihong, Claude Monet, Georges Seurat, and Leonardo Da Vinci of course.

If you are intereeted in Painting, there are several styles we can talk about: the Renaissance, Classicism, Rococo，Impressionism, Neo-Impressionism, Fauvism, Surrealism, Cubism, etc.
