Overview
About Me
Hello, I'm Andrew, born and grew up in China. I'm a data development engineer, generally speaking, a programmer.
I've always been fascinated by how much I can learn just by stepping out of my comfort zone and into someone else's world. So I quit my job to do something I love, travel, make friends and see the world.
I'm respectful, easy-going, and eager to share my adventures and hear about yours. Whether it's hiking through breathtaking landscapes, tasting local delicacies, or sharing stories under the stars, I believe every place has its own story to tell.
As a traveler and a Couchsurfer, I will do my best to provide assistance. Whenever I notice someone in need or something that needs doing, I don't hesitate to jump in and offer my assistance, instead of waiting to be asked. Whether it's helping to cook a meal, fixing something around the house, or simply lending an ear, I'm always ready to contribute and make life a little easier for hosts.
Respect is paramount to me. I ensure that I conduct myself in a way that aligns with host's standards. Being a considerate and responsible surfer, I strive to leave a positive impact, making sure that my stay is as pleasant for my hosts as it is for me. I am grateful for the opportunity to be welcomed into someone’s home, and I show my gratitude by respecting their space and their rules.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
🌍 I'm a passionate explorer. Traveling enriches my life with unforgettable experiences and insights from diverse cultures. Outdoor activities allow me to get closer to nature, rest my brain, and feel the beauty of nature.
🧳 Quite different travel experience. Couchsurfing not only offers a bed or a couch but opens a gateway to understanding the heartbeat of places through the eyes of locals. Each stay is more than just a visit; it’s a chance to live a slice of life as hosts do, which is far richer than what any hotel could offer.
💬 Communication brings me unique insights. Couchsurfing brings exchanging stories, recipes, and perspectives. It's about growing through the shared experiences and wisdom of the diverse people I meet along the way.
🌟 Couchsurfing aligns perfectly with my love for travel and my curiosity about the world. It provides a platform that not only helps me travel more sustainably but also enriches my journeys with authentic experiences and lifelong friendships. I'm here to embrace the spirit of adventure and community, hoping to both teach and learn, share and receive, wherever I go.
