Hi! I'm Jojo, I'm a vegan travel blogger and writer. Before leaving Brighton to live life on the road I ran a not-for-profit bakery to make money for animal charities and before that I worked as a body piercer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new to the CS community but I'm looking forward to getting involved & making new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've traveled quite a bit & stayed with and hosted people I've met on internet forums but I haven't yet surfed any couches through CS. I don't have a couch but when I do I'll be throwing myself I to hosting people whose ethics / interests match mine.

Intereses

Aside from the obvious, travelling, I love to bake, go to gigs, listen to music and hang out with animals. I like to explore cities at night. I love the countryside & long train journeys. I am not what you would call a party animal but I enjoy live music & chatting to new people. I enjoy cooking and baking. I'm interested in veganism, animal rights, feminism, politics, reading, writing, riding my bike & exploring new places.

Música, películas y libros

Music! There are a lot of bands that I love and I always have room to discover new music. Music I can't get enough of right now; The Julie Ruin, The Bouncing Souls, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu & L7.

I love to read about travel from zines like Off The Map to Peter Hessler's River Town etc. I have Goodreads, Jojo Huxster, if you wanna check out what I've been reading lately!
