About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world; tasting a variety of local foods, learning about different cultures & seeing a variety of beautiful places.

ABOUT ME

I am.... tattooed, pierced, bi-sexual, spiritual, adventure seeking, kind hearted and very open :)

Travelling has always been my dream and I'm very fortunate to have a loving supporting family that enables me to live my dreams. I quit my job in marketing in June and travelled south America for 2 1/2 months. I didnt like it as much as I thought, I don't know if that's because of set expectations or because I was in love with a girl at home. I actually wasn't so excited to go but I felt like I had to, that the trip held lessons for me. I'm pretty spiritual and try to follow my intuition/feelings (yes its hard!)

At the moment I'm travelling Asia briefly, very much looking forward to Japan :)

PHILOSOPHY

Have you read the power of now? Such powerful book and so true- we need to live in the present moment and not worry about the past/future. Of course it is hard, but this is what I strive for.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't offer my couch at the moment as I am not home, but once I am home I look forward to showing people around london and offering my couch when possible

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a few great couch surfing experiences when I travelled a few years ago then forgot all about it until I met some fellow travellers who reminded me how great it can be. So I'm hoping to couch surf some more and meet some more great people.

Interests

I love doing any adventure activities I can get away with, even if I am accident prone and tend to not be very good at them.

I'm interested in finding out about different cultures & undertaking any opportunities presented to me.

I have recently become quite spiritual and am developing a spiritual arts magazine with a friend at home

Music, Movies & Books

I like most music from r&b to rock to country songs. Basically anything except dance & trance, but never say never.

Books: Any moving realistic story. Movies: Finding nemo, monsters ink (yes I am a kid at heart), p.s I love you, the beach (travel inspiration)

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I have done so many amazing things- from skydiving, to canyoning to elephant riding... I have also seen my beautiful niece being born and experienced great kindness from those who have little. The world can be a wonderful place :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I spent over 6 months in south east asia & hope I can share my experiences with people who have not had the chance to do so yet. I don't really know what I can teach in particular or what I want to learn. I believe it depends on the individuals with whom you share couch surfing experiences. The most natural, real thoughts & sharing of information comes when the conversation flows freely with no pressure from either side.
