About Me

I am a recent graduate from Clemson, and am currently out traveling the world! I am apart of WWOOF UK and have volunteered at different organic farms since October 2014. I just bought a car and want to do some solo traveling for a bit, and would love to meet new people along the way. I've heard a lot about Couch Surfing and want to try it out for a bit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Great way to meet local people.
Good to learn and be apart of different cultures.
Easily make friends and or contacts in a new place.
Love the idea of "Paying it Forward."

Interests

American Football (Collegiate Level), just about any sports for that matter, meeting new people, making new friends, BIG netflx fan, Playing the piano or guitar by ear, listening to music, reading a good book, sleeping (I mean, who doesn't) trying out a new meal.
Love to top off a long day with a pint of beer or a couple glasses of nice red wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Lindsey Stirling, Electro/House, pretty much a fan of all music, but most like an electronic spin on classical instruments.

Movies: Anything with action, Suspense, or Thriller, also like a good comedy.

Books: Harry Potter, Eragon, mostly sci-fy, currently delving into The Odyssey and The Iliad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled all across the U.S. with a group of 200 other High School Students for 30 days visiting most of the major universities and natural wonders along the way. We camped out underneath the stars in parks almost every night and split up into rotating groups to cook, clean, purchase food, etc. along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: My skill set primarily focuses on mathematics or physics but I can also work on most any machinery and perform some common fixes to houses. I bought, renovated, and flipped houses quite a bit in the states and would be more than happy to show anyone how to fix a hole in the wall, or fix a door that won't close properly.

Learn: Anything at all! It's always nice to try something new.

Share: Any of the experiences that I have had in the States, such as growing up on a 3,000 acre family run farm.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a clean person who always cleans up after myself and sticks by the phrase "leave it better than you found it." I don't mind helping out in any way around the house, whether that is cleaning or performing some manual outdoor labour. I love to listen to other people's stories and to make life-long friends.
