ABOUT ME

Recent graduate of the Camino de Santiago. Walked from St Jean Pied du Port, France until I reached the Atlantic in Muxia/Fisterre. It was fantastic, except a bit challenging to settle back into the workworkwork mentality.
Off to Ireland and Madrid this spring and am THRILLED. Promised myself I would try to surf after only hosting so far!

I like the movies "Xanadu" and "Better Off Dead." Sucker for really sappy 70's/80's songs. Nothing is sexier than a really detailed map of a wine region. Food=Love. I am a Certified Sommelier, know my way around a kitchen, and definitely can help your Trivia team win.

PHILOSOPHY

*There is very little time. Go.
*You won't have enough money. Go.
*People will think you are irresponsible/a gypsy/a threat to their paradigm. Irrelevant.
*Travel cracks you open and changes everything.
*If you can't go, then host until you can. Being around travelers and helping them, meeting new people ignites the passion. AND helps travelers :)
*Authenticity. Hospitality. Gratitude. How lucky we are to be able to go anywhere!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job, cashed in my tiny IRA and walked the entire Camino de Santiago 10/27-12/5/2016. Best thing I've ever done!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can pair food and wine, snacks and cocktails, mood and music, laughter and song.
Children love me, and I, them. Cook-I can COOK!!!
