ABOUT ME

I've recently decided to give the vagabonding life a go. I quit my high-paying yet soul destroying job to travel the world. I'll be heading for New York in late August/early September and then probably to Dublin next.

I'm orgionally from Oklahoma. I graduated High School in Anadarko, OK and graduated college at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK.

I moved to Seattle about 6 years ago because I was burned out on my current job and I needed a change of scenery. 6 years later, I find myself in a similar rut. This time I'm going to try to keep moving. :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I have pretty liberal political views. Philisophically, I guess I consider myself a rationalist/realist. I'm an atheist, but I try not to be confrontational about it. :-)

I've recently decided that life is way too short to "stick it out" in a job that makes me miserbale. Carpe Diem! :-)

I'm brand new. I haven't surfed or hosted yet. I can only host until june 22, 2009...then i'll be homeless. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music and couldn't possibly pick a favorite band or song. A few tha tcome to mind...Pink Floyd, The Doors, Dire Straights, Ghostland Observatory, Blind Melon, Fatboy Slim, Gorillaz, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Paul Simon, Theivery Corporation, The White Strips.

I like all kinds of movies too. One of my favorites might be The Royal Tenenbaums. I loved Requium for a Dream...I Heart Huckabees...Natural Born Killer...Fear and Loathing...way to may others to list.

Most of the books I read are non-fiction books about philosphy and politics. I do most of my reading online though...surfing the internet...reading about everything under the sun...philosophy, technology, politics, and more recently travel would probably top the subject list.
