About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To show my son the world, and that there are good people out there. It’s not all big and scary.
**Please don’t send a friend request if we haven’t met in person. Please no invites to Ghana, my old plans to visit were in 2009.**
ABOUT ME
I can't host right now but I would love to do some sight-seeing with someone. I'm finally back in my hometown after almost a decade and am trying to get re-aquainted with it. I have a 10 year old boy so I could use the incentive to get out of the house :)
My local travel goal is to visit all of the 50 states in the U.S.A. In order for it to qualify as an official visit I would need to:-Spend the night-Have a meal at a local (not chain) restaurant-See some sort of local (not necessarily touristy) attraction or show. That would be enough to make it official, don't you think?
So far I have 16 down, 34 to go!
Pet Peeve- People who sit around and complain that there's nothing to do, instead of taking the initiative and making plans.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
During my 8-9 years in San Antonio I organized a hike, a couple of bicycle rides, and a couple other things.
Now that I'm back in Sacramento I'm just trying to get my bearings back :)

Magic Carpet
- Shel Silverstein
You have a magic carpet
That will whiz you through the air
To Spain or Maine or Africa
If you just tell it where.
So will you let it take you
Where you've never been before
Or will you buy some drapes to match
And use it
On your
Floor?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-I finally got to hold a tarantula and let it walk up my arm, and now I have conquered big snakes! :)
-I got to shoot an AK-47 at my uncle's house in Tennessee
