About Me
Hi guys! We're currently fairly busy and cannot host anyone for the next couple of weeks. I'm happy to meet up for a coffee, a walk or some other activity. Also, let me know though if you'd like any advice for travelling in NZ.
Cheers, Julia
Mysterium tremendum, majestas, fascinans
As kids we were true adventurers. Everything is unknown and new, and we want to discover it all. We don’t know anything about risks nor about danger or loss. The world’s aversions are far from our conscious minds. As for that we’re facing life as bold and dauntless as we possibly can. We inherit the indestructible faith that we will live forever. That nothing ever can stop us from achieving what we aim for. We are convinced that we are unbreakable so we impartially embrace the day as if having the strength to tear out trees. We exist with all our body and soul; no fault-finder may constrain our doing. Sorrow and doubt abandon our thoughts. What shall we be afraid of? That the unicorn-posters on our walls come to life? Growing up and becoming adults we forget how do be brave though. Instead we learn how life’s fortunes are entangled and which ventures may follow with every daring move. The perception of our childhood’s days is getting lost along the way: Sometimes I retrieve this feeling. When I ski downhill in breakneck speed and land in snow white drift right on my face, skis stuck in the ground, and yet get up undamaged and laughing heavily. This is when I feel immortality in my veins again. When I sit amongst my folks at some crackling bonfire and letting myself wander into unknown spheres alongside the songs we’re singing. When I dive into mountain blue glacial lakes and the cold deliberates every cell within my body and casts everything into clarity. When I hike through the wild until complete exhaustion, or climb up a rock face with but the muscles in my arms and legs, or I simply run until my lungs burn but still my feet keep on going, carrying me farther. This is when braveness awakes again. Life vibrates throughout the last corner of the waking mind and all my being is electrified. I feel eternity in every fibre, an exaltation that’s more than simple adrenalin. It’s an energy, which I seek and find in the extreme spurs of life. It’s an energy I need to make myself realise who I am. I need more than just the profane to feel alive.

What I Can Share with Hosts
We got a neat little home in Wellington, fairly close to the CBD. Our house is facing the waterfront, offering some amazing views. We can offer a couch in the living room. If we can spare some time, we're happy to do some stuff in town together. Otherwise we usually cook every night and you'd be very welcome to join in.
