My name is Jolina, i am 18 years old and currenly living in Frankfurt, Germany. In november me and my friend (who you can see on the pictures too, his name is Marwin and he is also 18 years old) will be traveling through Australia. Our first detination will be Brisbane, where we can stay at my cousins place. After this we are continuning our travels to Byron Bay along the coast. Following that we are planning on going to Sydney, staying there for approximately 2 weeks. After that time we are traveling to Melbourne, which will be our final destination before going back to Germany.
Apart from Couchsurfing Marwin is very familar with hosting people since his family has been doing this for 2 years and he always enjoyed it. Futhermore he visited many countries outside Europe like Indonesia, Canada, USA, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates. I personally lived in boarding school in England for a year with people from various background. These experiences lead to us being really open-minded, living with a broad perspective.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We both think that Couchsurfing would help us to get the „full australian experience“. We love to meet new people and hope to make some future friends.
Marwin and I both love getting to know new things every day and would really be grateful for a host, which could provide us with tips on what to visit, where to eat and tells us about the local "traits". Futhermore we would be more than happy to explore the cities with the host together, if he/she wants to join.

Música, películas y libros

Marwin and I are both listening to a varied range of music: From house music, greek traditional songs and german rap to english rap and mainstream charts.
Marwin is mostly watching films rather than series. He watches all kinds of genres except horror. I personally am a series-junkie and am desperately looking for a new one (maybe you could recommend one :) ) We also read books but mostly non-fiction books like travel books for example.

Jolina: The best decision i made was to live in England for a year. I met many amazing people who i still talk to and visit today. This experience definately enriched me, my way of thinking and my future plans.
Marwin: I work at a pharmacy. Delivering clients their medication and helping them with little things in their daily life (like going grocery shopping for them) fullfills me since I know I am able to help people.
