32 year old former digital nomad, traveled the world for two years while working online. I did a lot of "unofficial" couch surfing around the globe before a friend recommended I log back in and actually use this site! And made some incredible friends in the process. I'm constantly grateful for the people that travel has brought into my life.

I’m now settled back in Australia, and will very occasionally be able to host - so thought I’d list my spare room for solo female travelers who need a place to rest and like the idea of a few days in a quiet, leafy, neighbourhood and are cool with pets and babies (I have a dog, cat, and son).

To meet new people, make new friends and pay forward the kindness of the people who hosted me.

Just as a note: the poor reference is untrue, and was left (I can only assume) out of spite after I reported the user to Couchsurfing support for some really disgusting harassment during my stay (they told me that they had contacted him). The whole situation made me really sad as I'd had such lovely interactions with CS community members prior to that.
