I am a music teacher/ performer, specialising in drums and percussion. Also play a little piano.
I was a keen dinghy sailor in High School at Hervey Bay, and surfed a bit as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies-- Anything by Jim Jarmusch.
No Place For Old Men. Not a big fan of most of it, especially Hollywood's output. Prefer the independents.

Prefer documentaries on the telly. Not much of a reader of novels, mainly non- fiction and trade mags.

Music-- Ornette Coleman, Miles, 'Trane, Bill Evans, The Smiths, Brian Eno, Johnny Cash- anything except opera.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(i) I designed the logo for the Hervey Bay Sailing Club when I was 15.

(ii) I was in a band in Brisbane back in the 1980's that was offered the national Jethro Tull tour support.
