Travel far and wide, yet go local.
I am very easy-going and low maintenance. I try to be open-minded, and look at issues from many vantage points, and you might even catch me playing devil's advocate just for fun. I like to eat well, exercise, and go out with friends. I work hard so that I can play hard, and enjoy life in general.
I also love to travel when time allows, which currently involves one or two road trips a month. I'm currently focused on seeing more of the U.S., with an emphasis on Utah, before venturing out into the world again. There's so much to see and do here!
Live and let live, learn something from everyone, and make the world a better place. We are all in this together, so make it great!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf, host, and occasionally travel with other surfers when possible. Also looking forward to local CS meetups/events.
I'm still relatively new to the community, but my experiences so far have been great!
Rock climbing, technical canyoneering, mountain biking, alpine skiing, back country skiing, back packing, hiking, trail running, cooking, eating, wine, coffee, tea, yoga, meditation, travel, foreign language, culture, ...
I actually have many more interests than I have time. I especially like combining travel with my other interests. I love taking climbing and culinary tours of new places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived off-grid in a Burning Man RV for six months;
Rapelled off of the Wolf's Head in the dark;
Paddled the upper Yough;
Enjoyed a thousand sunsets over many landscapes, some amazing, some ugly, but all worth seeing;
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes, please! I would love to show you how to do any of the activities that I really enjoy, and would love to try others. Help me find the hidden gems across the country and world! I'll share the ones that I have found.
