About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To roam and have fun and meet great people along the way
ABOUT ME
I'm a generous person, always willing to help those around me. I'm usually the first person to stop and help someone having car trouble. I have three amazing kids. I'm an officer in the Army National Guard. My civilian job keeps me on the road quite a bit, so there are few places I haven't at least driven through.
PHILOSOPHY
I always say when you've reached the end of your rope in life just tie a knot and hang on for dear life!
Enjoy every moment when you can, enjoy every person that lets you, and live IN every moment of your life. Time passes so quickly, so at the end of it all I want to leave this world with bag full of great memories and experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am now opening my home to host surfers as they come to or through my town. I have been hosted once and it was a very good experience.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed two nights with my new CS friend in KC and really enjoyed my stay. I'm looking forward to so much more of the same in the future as I surf and host and create new friendships and connections with other humans around the world.
Interests
What little time I get to myself is spent doing ANYTHING. I have found few hobbies that I don't enjoy. Everything from wood working to scuba diving. I like a thrill and I really enjoy relaxing with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
My tastes range from Classical and James Taylor all the way to things like the Offspring and Cher Lloyd!
Right now I'm listening to the Avett Brothers
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in the Navy a long time ago.....I was in the middle of the Atlantic ocean and saw a school of whale sharks. That was the most awe inspiring thing I've ever seen. Buying my first car was an other moment that I won't soon forget. It was a 1971 Camaro with a 454 and I thought I was the king of the road!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always able to learn from those around me of almost any age....keeps me fresh. I have a ton to teach. I've packed a lot of life in to the few short years that I have lived. I've traveled all around the world and fallen in love in unexpected places and found friends when I wasn't even looking. I think if you just relax and let life happen sometimes it will surprise you.
