ABOUT ME

I love warm climates, travel, and meeting real people.
I like other people's kids but have no plans to reproduce.
I used to be a lifeguard when I was in college.
I've started down a path to a new career, which will be my third.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a local to Orange County. I know something of Los Angeles also.

So far I have introduced CS to 3 friends who joined.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted pairs and/or single couchsurfers. At least 7 times so far.
A friend and I surfed 1 time in Calexico. I surfed a couch in SF 1 time. I hope to gain more couchsurfing experience.
I've hosted several friends who "surfed" here but aren't on CS.

Back in my fisheries days I slept on a lot of fishing boats.

Interests

I wish I could live as a waterman for a while. I love snorkeling and am interested in freediving. I stay in shape and eat right, so I can eat what I love when I travel.
I like Burning Man regional events and I made it to BRC in '09 and '13. I enjoy EDM but I don't party much these days. I sometimes sew jackets or vests for myself..

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a netflix subscription. With so many movies out there I'd like to see, it seems a waste to watch the same movies over and over (unless it's one of my favorites).
Music depends on the mood, partial to mashups or house for dance.
