ABOUT ME

Hi there!

I'm Jonathon and I live in central Edinburgh, 15 minutes walk from Princes Street and all of the history and culture associated with Scotland's capital. I would describe myself as a people person, and like to go out of my way to make friends and guests feel welcome.

My mission for 2012 is to hitch-hike my way around Europe, starting by living in the Alps with friends from December 2011 to March 2012 before heading east in the spring time, with the idea of going as far east as Minsk before looping back around and gradually making my way to Barcelona. Who knows though...the nature of the beast means I could end up anywhere, anytime. I can't wait! I intend to rely fairly heavily on Couch Surfing during this period and as such welcome travellers to my flat which I share with 2 others, so as to repay the favours I'm sure I will receive from this community during the coming months when I find myself on the road.
