I've been travelling on and off for the greater part of my adult life, have taken multiple round-the-world trips, and I'm proud to say that I've been to 50 countries and have loads of great stories!

I love going to pubs, playing board/word games, surfing, listening to new music, hiking, rock climbing/bouldering, and seeing new things. I love to host people and hear about their experiences, get tips to improve my own travels, and hopefully make friends for the future.

I posted a last minute discussion once and found four people willing to drop everything and go on a week long road trip to ski in the Rockies. Couchsurfing is full of people with that kind of attitude, and those are the kind of people I get along with. It's is a great way to meet new friends and get advice in foreign or new territory. My travels wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of the people on here, and everyone I meet up with ends up being a blast.
