my name is jonas, i'm german,
i grew up in a beautiful small city in the southwest of germany, but to be fair there isn't much to do for young people.
so i spent most of my time doing sports, especially handball. i've been playing this game since i started walking and i am still in love with it!!
i play golf as well, started 10 years ago. i like being outside, so whenever the sun is out you will most likely find me on the golf course. you might think golf is not the best thing to do on a nice day, but honestly, with the right people to play with, you can have an amazing time on the course.

i'm uncomplicated, energetic, generally in a good mood and sometimes i'm funny ... i would say hanging out with me is fun... maybe I am exaggerating, so you better find out yourself! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i decided to leave home after finishing high school to spend some time in other places, becoming more independent and make some awesome experiences... meet new peolpe, see new things, live life.
i think couchsurfing is a platform where a lot of people pursue this lifestyle. help and inspire each other.
thats why i am on couchsurfing.
right now i can't travel, i am bound to the hague, where i study aerospace engineering.
my current housing situation does't allow me to host anyone, sadly... but I will change that as soon as i can!

Interests

i like sports, being outside, landscapes and outdoor activities
i love good food, being in a nice, friendly and active community
i love going out with the right people, it doesn't always have to be big action, but i enjoy that as well

Music, Movies, and Books

my favourite band are the red hot chilli peppers, but i have a wide range of music i like... good guitars, because i play the guitar myself, but entertaining hip hop, electro and funk/soul

i really haven't watched many movies, but the best ones i have seen yet are gran torino and forest gump

to be fair... i read even less that i watch movies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

drove an old station wagon through melbourne at rush hour one month after i got my license... and with zero driving experience in the left lane system.
do not recommend.

Teach, Learn, Share

i used to teach kids in handball and golf before, so I can teach you too I guess

i supported some friends passing their exams (teaching the younger and learn with the older ones), i am good with maths and physics and i think i explain well

i like sharing the way i see the life on our world and I love to get to know about other views

i have some cooking skills (probably not good enough to impress, but better that most young men)
i can show you how to play the guitar
i am young and healthy so I can do some labour work in and around the house (garden... )
i can show you how a 20 year old german sees the world
