About Me
Just moved out and right now not avaible to host. I hope we soon will have a guest couch. :)
My name is Jonas and I am a 22 years old mathematics student in Vienna. I love spending time with my friends (math students are much more social than one might expect), playing games, solving puzzles, having a good conversation.
I have been teaching chess since we founded a school club back in the day. In my free time I like playing basketball, ultimate frisbee, table tennis, and more. I don’t go out often, but I love to dance at concerts. I like cooking and baking and eating, especially with others. Other cultures have always fascinated me and I am looking forward to learn something new from you. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
All books from Jonas Jonasson, Alison Bechdel, Dostojewski and some austrian authors like Daniel Kehlmann and Clemens J. Setz. I always loved Matrix and watching history documentaries.
Vienna is a great city for being a passionate dancer, offering a wide range of free concerts and festivals. I love austrian and german indie, like Kapa Tult, Faber, Von wegen Lisbeth, Ja Panik, and more. I would love to go to an Ezra Furman Concert one day.
During homework I always end up scribbling on my exercise sheets and anything that you can scribble on, if that counts for art.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Back in the day, when I was still in school, I once helped two friends studying for our math exam. I tutored them for two weeks and they improved from 5 (worst mark) to 3 (medium mark) and 1 (best mark) respectively.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a chess teacher in elementary schools and always liked tutoring math, so if you struggle with that maybe I can help. :) I am interested in other cultures and learning about their history. I am especially interested in the middle eastern and chinese history.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking and baking together, playing ultimate frisbee, basketball, chess, hiking, theatre, any history that is not the austrian empire (too much of that in school). I am always open for a discussion and eager to get to know new perspectives and hopefully share some new ones too.
