Overview
About Me
Hello there, I'm Jonas, 21, from Germany and I did my bachelor's degree in biology last year an currently taking a gap year. That's why I'm on a long-termed trip through Sweden and explore the country, its nature and of course its people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I heard from CS from friends who told me I should definitely use it for my trip in Sweden and I'm so thankful for this information. I used it a lot until now and I made for sure my best experiences because of CS. There are so many lovely Hosts and Travellers which then became friends and I don't wanna miss them anymore!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to host people until now but I definitely will when I'm gonna continue my life in Germany but I've been hosted by a lot of people right now.
Interests
Doing sports, watching sports, hanging out with friends, exploring the nature,

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Mumford & Sons as well as some original handmade music. But I've already been as well on some rock concerts and on those of popular german bands.
It's hard to define a favourite movie, cause I'm not watching that many movies. But I'm more interested in arthouse-films than in big Hollywood-Blockbusters, which does not mean I'm not watching them at all. But I do more like watching big series like House of cards or Lilyhammer.
Probably the best book I've read in the past is The sixth extinction by Elizabeth Kolbert which unites information and a grandiose type of writing and which deserves its Pulitzer-Prize for sure. Other favourite authors of mine are John Williams, Donna Tartt, Wolfgang Herrndorf, Naomi Klein or Ross Raisin.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Decided to not do my gap year in Australia/New Zealand/ US but Sweden and get to know more about this fantastic country!
