On the road to Canada for another year !!!!

ABOUT ME

We live in a big ski field "Les Sybelles" in France (in the Alps). We came back from our trip to Argentina and Chile 2 years ago. We are now travelling in Canada for 2 years with a working holiday visa. We bought a minivan which we made "sleepable" , so we still could sleep in our mini-house :=) if better for you.

In France we were restoring our little mountain chalet in the Alps, made of wood and when we come back we will finish it :=) that is why we are into mountain sport and we love being outdoors, we are not made for staying in big cities or staying inside for too long ...

We love meet people, chatting and sharing ours experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After one year in France where we hosted all people we could (not enough cause there was not many request in my place!!!).
We travelled 6 months with couchsurfing in South America.
We recently experimented 2 bad experiences with couchsurfing who didn't turn up whereas we were waiting for them to come over so please Couchsurfing is not an hostel :)

What we prefer in CS is having time with our host, chatting, cooking or touring or whatever. But we like to learn from you guys, whenever possible :)

Back to France we hosted as much as we were asked !

Interests

We love the goods things of the life ! We love mountains, a lot of sports : skiing, mountain bike (I did it at high level in France), motorbike, running, trail,ski alpinism...... music (playing piano, harmonica), Anyes plays violin.
I enjoy playing chess and need to learn more !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wanted do the world championship multi-sport one day in NZ... So i did some kayaking training and cheeking the race river without enough training in NZ..... Then I fall off into the cold water, and I though I was going to die and it was a very hard time !!! I am definitively not a water man !!!!

The last one : I did the world highest ultra trail (51k, 7700m deniv total, between 3000m and 5424m) without preparation to acclimation altitude!! but I did very well!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love talking about moutains sports, and nature.
And learn about world, animals, or new things even if my memory is really bad.

I was high level mountain biker for 8 years in France so I love to talk about it !

Nice sport conversation and my crazy experiences when traveling, discovering and hicking in the mountains and of course very good meals.
