CURRENT MISSION

I have studied English and History to become a teacher. I am moving to Bristol on the 30th of January and want to meet new people. At the same time I want to improve my English, which is why I am coming to Bristol.

ABOUT ME

I am a 31 year old University graduate who studied English and History at the University of Potsdam. Currently I am working as a mentor at a secondary school in Berlin Neukölln. I have lived in Berlin since 2002 and needed a break from Berlin which is getting more and more crowdy.

PHILOSOPHY

The greatest value there is on earth is peace and friendship between different people, cultures and countries. Travelling and working in the EU is a great achievment. I hope people in England like to hear that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time with couchsurfing. I have travelled many countries in Europe by Interrail. I have also lived in Montana/USA for 9 month during 11th grade.

Interests

I am interested in music film good food and cooking bars and beers but I also want to serve the community as a motivated teacher.

Music, Movies, and Books

Stanley Kubrick is the greatest genius concerning films. I like rock, jazz, funk, soul but also don't mind other music. As a student of American and English literature, I enjoy reading literature political essays and my daily newspaper.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Rome last summer and I have to admit that it is the most beautiful city i have ever seen. being a student of ancient history this doesn't come as a great surprise, but i havent't been there for a long time. ancient Rome is just an amazing place.

As already mentioned, I will become a teacher soon. Therefore I am interested to work with kids and adolescents.
