Sou uma pessoa apaixonada por conhecer novas pessoas, especialmente aquelas que carregam consigo culturas vivas e diversas, tanto do Brasil quanto de outros cantos do mundo. Tenho mais de uma década de experiência com o Couchsurfing — embora tenha feito uma pausa durante a graduação, retomei recentemente a prática de receber viajantes em casa e continuo achando essa troca algo verdadeiramente mágico.
Cada pessoa que recebo ou com quem me hospedo deixa uma marca, uma memória boa, uma saudade. Me sinto realizado por poder construir amizades ao redor do mundo, em conexões que vão muito além do simples ato de hospedar ou ser hospedado. Para mim, o Couchsurfing nunca foi apenas sobre ter um lugar para dormir — é sobre compartilhar histórias, vivências e olhares sobre o mundo. É isso que torna essa experiência única, algo que hotéis ou roteiros tradicionais jamais poderiam oferecer.

I'm someone who truly enjoys meeting new people, especially those who carry deep cultural roots — whether from within Brazil or from around the world. I’ve been part of the Couchsurfing community for over a decade. Although I took a break from hosting during my university years, I’ve recently returned to it and still find the experience truly magical. Everyone I host or stay with leaves behind a sense of saudade — that beautiful Portuguese word for a heartfelt kind of longing. I'm grateful to be building friendships across the globe. For me, Couchsurfing has never been just about finding a place to sleep. It's about exchanging life experiences and connecting with people on a deeper level — something that traditional travel or hotel stays could never offer.

Estou no couchsurfing não apenas para conhecer novas pessoas, mas também para expandir minha rede de contatos. Ao mesmo tempo, essa prática me oferece a oportunidade de aprimorar o conhecimento de outras línguas e desafiar estereótipos relacionados aos países ou estados em que vivemos.

I am on couchsurfing not only to meet new people but also to expand my network of acquaintances. At the same time, it provides me with the opportunity to practice other languages and challenge stereotypical views we may have about the countries or states we live in.
