About Me

CURRENT MISSION

More than one year ago I couchsurfed through the UK and stayed with some great hosts and had a unforgettable time. Recently I moved to Berlin. Now I want to be a friendly and nice host as my hosts in the UK used to be. So feel free to contact me and tell me about your travel plans. I'm very open minded and everyone is welcome to stay at my apartment.
German is my mother tongue, but I would appreciate if we could communicate in English. Some practise for myself. If you want to learn German I'm happy to switch the language. I'm very interested in spots especially football.

ABOUT ME AND MY FLAT

By the way, my Name is Jonas. I'm 26 years old and I'am working as a Consultant for Mercedes-Benz in the area of advertising. I grew up in a very small village (800 inhabitants) and recently moved to big Berlin I'm living here in a beautiful 2-room apartment in Berlin (Weißensee). It's next to the famous see with the same name. If you like you could go for swimming there. The see is surrounded by a beautiful small green park. You reach the center (Alexanderplatz) directly by taking the tram. It just takes 16 minutes. You will have your own room and bed. I can host up to two persons.

If you're up to we could discover the city together. I really like cooking and watching series. We could also create a delicious meal, grab some drinks afterwards and have a nice chat.I'm really interested in different lifestyles, countries, religions and so on. If you're planning to stay during the UEFA EURO we could also go to a public viewing. If you have any further questions feel free to ask.

PHILOSOPHY

Be Grateful - Even for the Small Things.
Make the best of it! And that every day again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I said before I couchsurfed through the UK by myself. Now it's time to be a host to make your trip remarkable.

MY FIRST COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On the same day I had registered on Couchsurfing I received an enquiry from a guy from London who was looking for a couch for one night. His primary host had cancelled the arrangement spontaneous. So he urgently needed a new couch within the next three hours. At the first moment I was a little bit shy because I wasn't planning to be a host. But then I was curious and tense how it would to be a host. So I wrote him. I catched him up at the central station and we had an very amusing evening. After that experience I decided to begin my own couchsurfing trip through England. I hope that I will have more of this situations in Berlin and can be helpful.

Interests

I'm very interested in photography, design, art, series, movies, cooking, traveling, sports especially football and enjoy what life brings. I'm looking for new interesting and inspiring people from whole over the world. Would be fine to get in touch and spend same time together.
