I'm an American, originally from Oregon, who has been living in Spain the last 13 years. I teach geography and history at a local high school. I enjoy hiking and biking in the mountains and being outdoors in general. Most of my free time I spend with my chickens and donkeys on my land in a village just outside of Avilés.

I used to host people through couchsurfing with a roommate and met a lot of great, interesting people. Now that I'm living on my own I look forward to continuing the experience and to have an opportunity to show off this beautiful area that has been so good to me.
