CURRENT MISSION

After finishing my M. Sc. in Photonic Engineering, a specialisation of physics, I am traveling through Central America before I start working somewhere in Europe :) I started in Cuba and want to go all the way to Columbia. During my travels I always try to live like a local since you get a better understanding of the culture and I want to be more or less fluent in Spanish when I return. I try to travel as cheap as possible, because I don't really have a time limit, but rather a budget limit ;)

ABOUT ME

I love interesting discussions but I also love to party. I love to do sports (calisthenics, bouldering, ...) but i also love to relax. I love to get to know new people but I also love to be alone sometimes. I love to play guitar (still practicing) and I love to read. But I don't know how objectively a person can discribe himself so it would be best if you got to know me!

Ah I almost forgot: I normally don't eat meat. But no worries, I don't judge anyone who does and during my travels I am not really strict about it since it is pretty difficult.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to apply philosophy in real life. Especially Nietzsche's amor fati - love the inevitable. Accept the reality as it is but still live the change you wish to see in this world.

For me the CS spirit is to host anyone who wants a place to stay.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I did couchsurfing only once in Mumbai. But after coming back from my travels I really want to be a host, too. So I can meet people from all over the world while staying at home :)
