CURRENT MISSION

To meet interesting people from all around the world, learn new things, try new experiences, to help discover Paris, and honestly to discover it too, because I am here only since 2 years and I feel that I don't know anything about it yet.

ABOUT ME

I'm 40 years old, I was born and lived for very long in Strasbourg, then I lived for two years in Cuba, and 6 months in Besançon. And now I am living in Paris.

As everyone here, I am an easy-going and open-minded person. I love going out to discover the world, I love outdoor sports like climbing, slacklining, and plenty other things. Recently, I started free skates, and I am planning to run 100 kms in September, 2025.
I am always up for having drinks, discover new food, and everything new I didn't do yet :)

As for your stay, we have a couch for you. I usually only answer "maybe" or don't answer immediately to couchrequests sent more than two weeks before the date. It depends on what I have to do when you come :)
When asking for more than one person, please don't forget to tell just a little about everybody (age, gender, relation, CS profile, etc...)
And PLEASE, try to send a little personnalised request, to find some common points, or explain why It would be nice to meet, why you liked my profile, it can be nice when I read a request. I usually don't answer to copy-pasted, non-CS spirit ("I need a place to stay", "I'm quiet, I won't bother you"), or unpersonnalized requests.
Don't hesitate to correct me when I speak english (or something else) wrong, it's always nice to feel that I am learning something :) If you're into learning french, I'll try to teach you some stuff too. I have a huge playlist and movie list for you in this case :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to host people from all over the world, and often travel with CS, it's a lot more fun !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I host couchsurfers as soon as I can, a lot easier since I live in Paris.
I travelled from Montreal to Washington in three weeks, only using CouchSurfing, and it was a really great experience. I since that time hosted a lot of people, then I met two girls from Russia, and one ended up being my wife for 12 years (now divorced). I have been traveling in Japan and Scandinavia with CS too.

I like outdoor sports, like climbing, riding bicycle, slackline, running,... I like going to party, night clubs, festivals, cinema, TV series, and making cocktails ;)

I like meeting english or spanish speaking people to talk with. I learnt spanish while I was living in Cuba, but didn't practice much since 5 years.
I can teach you mathematics (ok you'll probably not want it I understand :) ) or if you prefer, slacklining (a lot more fun). I play poker too.
