I'm A fun/adventure loving kid at heart looking to find more magic and love in day to day life.
You may find me playing a piano somewhere, or sitting at the library reading, or perhaps practicing writing backwards and forwards in cursive with both my hands. Or you might hear me laughing from a block over (When something strikes me funny, you know it), or singing in an empty elevator (hey, it has good acoustics for that), or just sitting somewhere outdoors taking in the ambience.
It's those genuine moments of connection, conversation, collaboration and co-creation that light a fire in me. In the process of starting a YouTube channel, beginning with a video telling my story.
I love my hometown! Austin truly is weird in its own way, and things seem to happen here that don't elsewhere.
Places I love here: Barton Springs! I go whenever I can in the Summertime. Paramount Theater: such a gorgeous, classic cinema. My favorite place to see movies, period. Zilker Park: another good place to meet and talk with new people. Doesn't hurt that I love dogs, too. Had a pitbull border collie mix dog for a short while, and miss her lots.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to rediscover what it means to connect with others on a real human level, and get back in touch with my inner child, a basic sense of adventure and discovery, my ability to "trust that the world is an amazing, loving place" .
I'm also looking for "my people", aka those "weirdos" looking to enjoy the small things in life while trying to make the most of life, and striving forward in their own way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Leaving everything I knew to live in Austin Texas (thanks to the inspiration of my favorite YouTuber, Ryan Trahan) with just a backpack. Living here was very tough at first, but I always seemed to have the right people there to point me in the right direction when I needed it. Still do. Ask me about the crazy stories (and "coincidences") that have happened to me here. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

An overall love of life, and a willingness to discover new things and connect with new people. Having gone through quite a bit, I'm thus way more patient and accepting. Everyone's story is different, and everyone has something to share that only they can share.
