Hi! My name's Jonathan, and I'm a student trying my hardest to major in math and economics at a liberal arts college in Massachusetts. I'm originally from Houston, TX, but decided to go up north for college so I could experience some nice change in weather and escape intense heat. I love meeting new people and hearing more about their own lives as I venture through my own. Couchsurfing sounds like an awesome way to explore new areas while also connecting with others, and I am hopeful that I can meet some great people along the way and keep in touch with them. This summer, I am hoping to do a lot of fun traveling domestically before I go abroad next year to Europe next year! And I wanna get to travel the world before this planet becomes uninhabitable

I'm such a pop culture fanatic. I use a different friends' HBO, Hulu, and Netflix account, so I binge lots of shows: Game of Thrones (started binging December 2018), Veep, Westworld, Insecure, High Maintenance, Big Little Lies, Pose, American Horror/Crime Story, Scandal, How to get Away with Murder, Rupauls Drag Race, Broad City,... (I actually don't know how I have time for all of this)

I also have a wide taste in music and enjoying discovering new tunes. My favorite genres have to probably be R&B, alternative pop, and female rap. And I gotta stay loyal to Beyoncé and Rihanna. I haven't been able to do some leisurely reading in a while now because of schoolwork (and I guess with all the TV I watch), but this summer, I have a list of books that I do actually want to read thoroughly!
