Hi there, I'm Jonathan and I love to travel. My girlfriend Monique and I are currently taking a year off and are travelling the world. We are very open minded and enjoy every opportunity to meet new people and experience new cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel and meet new people all over the world. I had lots of good experiences with Couchsurfing when I travelled across the US and Canada in 2016. I love meeting local people and exchanging our views of the world.

Interests

My passion is travelling. I want to see as much of the world as possible. I love doing sports, going to the gym, eating healthy (not necessarily every single day) and watching a good movie together with my friends while having a cold beer in my right and the remote in my left hand.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, always depending on my current mood or the mood I want to be in. My favorite books are the Dune series by Frank Herbert and Trying Not To Try by Edward Slingerland. Moviewise I love The Dark Knight, Forest Gump and all Tarantino movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 18 I did a 3-month road trip across the US all on my own. I passed through 34 states and covered 15,000 miles.
