About Me

Im Jonathan, im a vegetarian. I enjoy life and pursue living it peacefully.

Since hosting guys has been a less positive experience for me I mostly host women. So if you are a guy and want me to host you make sure you are as good a guest as the woman usually are. Like, clean up after yourself and show some real appreciation for the gesture of getting free accommodation. I had to clean up after you guys too many time to host equally any longer...

Couple are usually okay too. I guess guys tend to take more responsibility with a woman around..

Usually it's easier for me to host during the weekends. So weekdays I usually have to decline because of my workhours.

NOTE:
Please read my house rules before sending me a request. And refer to them in the request so that I know you read my profile ;)

HOUSE RULES:
I am a vegetarian so I do not allow meat in the apartment. Which means no fish or eggs as well. You need to confirm this in your request for me to take it seriously ;) If you fail to respect this during your stay, I will ask you to leave. This is because I have to be able to feel comfort in staying in my own home.

If this doesn't work for you and you are in destress, try the Last Minute Request Group:

Stay true to yourself and live from your heart ;)

Ok, so you read through the hard part about staying at my place :) Let me tell you something more about me as a person if you are still interested:

In Norwegian we have a kind of life rule that we enjoy mentioning every now and then.. Its a set of social laws made out of cardamom. Not sugar, but cardamom! If you want to know more about it, remember to ask me about it. But I can tell you this; most norwegians are proud to say they live by this set of rules. And it all originate from a child story about three robbers and the community in the city close to where they live...

I enjoy nature. And if you like to go camping with me, I will try make it into my schedule during your stay.

I do enjoy a glass of whiskey every now and then. Even though I believe the true spirit of life and higher consciousness is only experienced through a clean body and mind.

Some times I do meditation. But since I'm a kind of lazy person with much energy, I usually dont find the time. But I can show you some yoga or do meditation with you if you like..

My day job is working for the Municipality, taking care of people with heavy drug problems. We help them out in their living situations. And I love my work!

I also enjoy working as a volunteer for the Red Cross, which has been a whole lot of time. 100% working hours for a longer time period before. I enjoy working with social/humanitarian work.

I have a diploma in Thai massage from Chiang Mai in Thailand. So if you feel like letting me test my skills, feel free to let me know :)! Thai massage is performed fully clothed and without any oil..

Music: I listen a bit to everything. But I enjoy Jazz, especially Paul Desmond. And I enjoy Ska by example Desmond Dekker.

Movies and Series: Sci-Fi, and even more sci-fi. One of my favourite shows are Doctor Who?.

Books: Do not read much at all. But do try to write my own book. It's a psychological self biography. It's about my life and personality. How I changed through hard times and how it made me more capable of living by my own standards.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping in the wintertime new year's eve. Out in the wonderfull snow and ice at -24°. The ice made a really neat soundshow as the air moved around between the ice and the water.
