My name is Jonathan and I am 22 years old. I am engaged to the best fiance I could ever ask for.

I have been kayaking for most of my life. It is the hobby that keeps me happy and healthy.

I am also an entrepreneur. I own two small businesses.

I grew up in the United States and moved back to South Africa with my mother when I was nine.

In the short term me and my fiance want to finish studying (programming for me and actuary for her). Get married and travel the world together.

In the long run I want to educate and empower other people. This will be through my business ventures.

I am on couch surfing because I recently got a contract (for MacroPerspective) in Orlando Florida and am looking for a place to stay.

Interests

I have always enjoyed maths and physics. I studied industrial engineering for two years, but ultimately dropped out to rather study programming.

I enjoy almost any forum of fiscal activity. Hiking, running, cycling swimming kayaking and going to the gym.

The one business I own is MacroPerspective an educational company, teaching people how to invest in the currency and stock market.

The other company sells natural health products. Collagen, skin care creams, probiotics, ashwagandha and so on.

I have a psychology hobby. I have studied personality types and enjoy learning about how the mind works. Fallacies basis and so on.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't read fantasy. I almost never watch TV. I love investing, and read nonfiction investment books (exciting I know). I love almost all music, everything has it's time and place. Favorite band is Queen.

I can braai (barbecue) really well. I also enjoy cooking. Fan of spicy food.

I enjoy an active lifestyle and have a busy schedule. Would not prefer it any other way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have completed in Junior World Championships for kayaking. Gone skydiving. I am a white water instructor.
