Layed back easy going chap. Love to hear and learn about nearly everything, especially new stuff. Thats why I'm in love with traveling, the constant new experiences from place to place and unique people from their backgrounds, opinions and personalities. I prefer to enjoy a coffee and a conversation rather then a loud busy club, but I do enjoy a solid music/art/cultural festival. I'm a keener to make the people I meet laugh and relax. Authenticity is the name of the game and the rules are genuine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've met alot of fellow travellers who have recommended CS and I figured this will be a great way to meet the people of the place I'm in. A way to deepen my travel experience by meeting the locals over some food and drinks. Educating myself by hearing what life is like and maybe even a history lesson or two. Open ears.

Interests

Learning, as vague and broad as it sounds. From the sciences to photography, history to politics I'm game for anything. Outdoor activities such as kayaking, mountaineering, camping etc. keep the balace aligned when travelling and in life. Photography has a special place in my heart that I intend on nurturing. Working on getting my PADI certification in open water scuba. Food of course we have to eat right? Never enough cuisines to try or learn how to make. Recently through my travels I've become interested in fine arts, trying to build the old knowledge neuro nets and understand styles. Two step dance to electro jazz over bump'n grind. Yup lots to learn and love.

Discuss payment before committing! Whether a taxi or for food. Manuals are your friend and along with the internet and a bit of will one can fix nearly anything. Too much work and not enough play makes for a midlife crisis. Never stop learning! Don't be to preachy haha. And grammer is overrated. And last but most important bring toilet paper on all longish transportation trips. Laugh more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A polite cheerful overly-sorry hopefully-laughing Canadian experience. House broken and clean, I enjoy cooking and would whip something together for my hosts. Also if perosnal space is desired I'm good with soloing off on me own.
